Whole-School Evaluation Report
In January 2025, Ballymakenny College underwent a Whole-School Evaluation – Management, Leadership and Learning (WSE-MLL) carried out by the Department of Education. This process looked in detail at teaching and learning, leadership and management, and support for student wellbeing.
The final report highlights many of our strengths, including the high quality of teaching and learning, our positive and inclusive school culture, and the strong leadership and teamwork within our school community. It also offers constructive recommendations, which we have already begun to address, to ensure we continue to improve and provide the best possible education for all our students.
