Dear Parents and Guardians,
We have received an important update from the HSE regarding the current flu season. Flu rates are rising, and we expect very high levels over the Christmas and New Year period. This increases the risk of illness and complications, especially for vulnerable children and adults.
To help protect your child and others:
- Free nasal spray flu vaccine is strongly recommended for all children aged 2 to 17 years. It is quick, easy, and available from your GP or local pharmacy.
- Vaccination helps prevent serious complications and reduces transmission in schools and communities.
Please take action now so your child is protected by Christmas.
