Deputy Principal 2021-Ballymakenny College

The Board of Management of Ballymakenny College invites applications for the post of Deputy Principal.

This position will take effect from 1 September 2021.

The successful candidate will be joining the Principal and Deputy Principal in managing & leading change to respond to the evolving needs of the school and to current changes in education. Ultimately the overall responsibility of the Deputy Principal will be to assist this team in the management of the school.

Ballymakenny College currently has a roll of 921 students and expects to grow to 972 students by 2021.

The successful candidate will have an educational vision and possess a high level of interpersonal and organisational skills.

Applicants must have a minimum of five years whole-time teaching experience.

Ballymakenny College is a Community School established in 2014. It is a developing school with enrolment increasing to 972 pupils in 2021.
